Primary School Performance Project
Tailored for your site
Over a 4 week period your class will delve into the history of your local historic site culminating in a costumed performance in school for your community.
We provide
- Guided tour and activities on site to launch the project
- Resources and ideas to build the learning in the classroom
- Scripts adapted to reference your local area and suitable for your class number and needs
- Rehearsals and drama workshops led by experienced drama educators
- Song, music and dance can be included
- Costumes, props and sound
We have run successful pilots for schools around Kinneil House in Bo’ness (funded by Historic Environment Scotland) and Callendar House in Falkirk ( supported by Falkirk Council).
This project is suitable for 1 class (max 33 pupils) at P4, P5, P6 or P7 level.
