Illuminate UK - Education - Young Ambassadors
Does your school or organisation have something you'd llike to let the world know about? Would you like to use the children's voices to do this but don't know where to start? Why not take a leaf out of the book of My Future's in Falkirk initiative and bring in the Illuminate UK team to give the children confidence and communication skills?
My Future's in Falkirk is an economic regeneration project - the message they wanted young people in the area to know and promote is that Falkirk is changing and getting better. They decided to bring in the Illuminate team to teach P6 pupils in all of the Primary Schools in the Larbert High School cluster about voice, presentation and communication skills.
They even asked us to write a play for the children to perform which enabled them to understand and relay the key messages of the project.
